Appearing in Baltimore Centerstage’s Production of ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore

So after a month of rehearsals down in Baltimore Maryland, ‘Tis Pity is officially open! Its been a very exciting process and an extreme pleasure working with the high caliber talent that makes up this cast and artistic team. Its unfortunate that the run is so short, so if your interested it’s only a 3 hour drive from New York (2 by train) and we have shows running everyday but Monday. Baltimore Centerstage’s production of John Ford’s poetic and bloody revenge tragedy, ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, officially opens in the Pearlstone Theatre March 18. Previews began March 11.

Directed by Centerstage artistic director Irene Lewis, the production will continue through April 5.

The cast is headed by Kristin Sieh and Colby Chambers as, respectively, the doomed sibling-lovers Annabella and Giovanni, with Laurence O’Dwyer as the Friar and John Ramsey as the Cardinal.

‘Tis Pity, according to press notes, “combines a forbidden love, a meddling nurse, a complicit friar, and a tragic and bloody ending — mirroring in many ways the story of Romeo and Juliet — but it’s the lurid twist of a brother and sister in love that sets this bloody 17th-century revenge tragedy apart from Shakespeare’s classic tale of star-crossed lovers.”

Turning Point

This is a still from my most recent film project, Turning Point, in which I was an actor as well as the Stunt Coordinator. We shot this up in Boston over 4 days and in an alleyway in Chinatown. The location was absolutely perfect, now if only we could add that wonderful back alley smell to the final cut.

It was a fantastic shoot all around and we should have some footage early spring, as well as more photos up on the site soon. If you are looking for more information regarding this film send me an email from the contact page.

I am fortunate enough to be going back to Boston to shoot another film in May, entilted Noah and the Night Barker, in which I will be playing Noah. I am very excited for this project as I will be working with a wonderful director, Deja Brandeis, as well as the incredible crew from Turning Point.
